The purchase replaces the output currentlyt obtained under a purchased powee agreementwith Calpine's RockGen Facility and is expected to occurd in June 2009 upon the expirationh of the RockGen purchasedx power agreement. The Neenah Generatingv Facility, which began operation in 2000, is owned by Alliant Energy a nonregulated affiliate of Wisconsin Powetrand Light. The utility subsidiary of Madison-based Alliant Energ y Corp. (NYSE: LNT), Wisconsin Power said it would purchase the Neenay facility forabout $95 million, pending federalp regulatory approval.
